I am receiving an error in the android app anytime I open a forum or try to post if I make it to a forum.

"The remost server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict."

I have updated my apps.

There was no update available for the app, I just updated everything else to be safe. No change.

Is the app still supported? Seems like support has ended.

The app is no longer functional on new devices. New Samsung phones don't have a menu button, eliminating any ability to refresh, a necessity due to the static design of the app pages. Also, no pull down refresh is built in.

The app seems to be locked to a specific size. On the larger screen the lower buttons are cut off making navigation difficult.

The mobile site is clean, but has functionality even more limited than the app.

The app has always been glitchy for me, with ads for a me as a member, not loading pictures, etc. But at least it worked. Now it doesnt even do that.

Can I at least be assured the project isn't in the discard bin?

What phone are you using it on? I've got a T-Mobile Note 3 and it works just the same as it always has. The buttons at the bottom are mostly cut off, however that is the same for anyone.

I don't think support is completely stopped, just real slow. I haven't used the mobile site in long time, in part because I'm lazy, and because I didn't want to deal with logging in.

It worked alright on my S4 but now is unusable on my phone.

Ah, well seeing as the S5 came out recently, maybe the appropriate updates haven't been made for the app to work well with it. However, the S5 should be running the same OS as me (KitKat) and shouldn't have an issue. I think it does have a few updated parts that might make it a problem though. My advice, if no one sees these posts soon, maybe shoot a PM to IB Tim and let him know. I thought there was some kind of support area too but I haven't looked in a while.

It does run KitKat but so did my S4 and there are a lot of differences. A LOT.

I know it's new but the cut off issue is not be it's been present on other devices since it's inception.

The cut off issue has been there since their last update for me. That was a while ago. There is certainly room for a lot of improvement but hey, it's a free app.

Since the TapaTalk idea got canned pretty quick, this is what we have.

I know, I used it while I could. But I cannot now. I just think if they are going to make an app, why are they putting in a half effort. IB is huge. They can afford a good app. I would even pay for a stable app that functioned. But given the history of the app, I wouldnt pay for an app until I knew it was stable.

I would still like to know why tapatalk got shut down so quickly. They were never open to the idea. I assume its because they have ads on the mobile app, and cant do that in tapatalk. Even though I'm not supposed to have ads, I do. Oh well.

It might also cost money to use tapatalk for a website. I'm not sure. I wondered why as well but never tried to find out. I would also possibly be up for buying a stable app, as well as helping test it. As a supporter, I no longer have ads, if you still do you may need to ask about that.

There are ads on the mobile app, even as a supporter.
