Media blasting in Utah

I am looking for recommendations on a shop to media blast my 51 F1. Someone experienced in auto restoration. Blast only, blast and prime, or the full blast, repair, prime and final paint. Getting the runaround from shops that only want to do insurance work.

Thanks, Brent

Hey Brent, Hopefully someone will come along with a recommendation for you. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone yet.

Woody, I got a call yesterday from utahsodablasting.com/ Greg there said I can bring it in next week. They will media blast (not soda) primer paint, and I can pick it up a week later. Now I have to hurry to get the frame and motor ready.

That's great. I'll check out their website. Let us know how it goes.

To report back on the result. I was pleased with the job utahsodablasting did. They were a little slow in completing the job, but the price was the same as the estimate. Complete media (Green something) blasting of both sides of every part of the torn down truck (F1) about $1200

Woody, The truck is almost finished. Look at the last pages of my build thread. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13384177

I hope to have it in a couple of local shows in July. La Cueva (Torrey) and Blast from the Past (Salina)

Brent
