Brake pedal sticking

Brake pedal sticking
I replaced the master cylinder and power booster a few months ago with Ford NOS parts (82 F250 4x4). Everything was working perfectly - but I just don't drive the truck enough - which is the cause of everything/anything that goes wrong with my tuck. Now the brake pedal is sticking (down/applied) when I step on the brake pedal.
I have to get my foot under the pedal and lift up or the brakes will be dragging.
I assume the problem is in the booster since lifting on the pedal to release the brakes would have no effect in the master cylinder. The pedal linkage itself is not sticking. I don't recall if I can get to any moving parts inside the booster. I'm thinking I may be able to spray some lubricant into the area where the booster piston slides (i.e. remove booster and spray into the end that connects to pedal).
What do you think - any other ideas?

All I know is they always have a warning on these things about something that can get out of place inside the booster where the master cylinder goes. They warn you do not pull the little shaft out of the booster or some sort of "reaction disc" can come out of place. Did you pull the shaft out of the booster?

I don't think so - but I don't remember now. I know it worked fine after the brake job. I only drive the truck when I need something large from Home Depot or such, so the truck doesn't get used much any more. It's been a couple of months since the brake work and then the other day I got in and the pedal was sticking.
I guess I just need to pull the booster out and either find something wrong that I can fix or replace it.

I could see how a bad/leaking hose would cause a hard pedal - but not a sticking pedal. What are you thinking?
