Tire Rotation Question

How often do you guys rotate your tires? I usually rotate mine every time I change the oil at or around 5,000. I am thinking about doing it every other oil change which would be about every 10,000 miles. I haven't had any wear problems, just thinking I may not have to rotate that often.

So how often do you rotate your tires? Why?

every 3,000 miles
every 5,000 miles
every 7,500 miles
every 10,000 miles
Never

My last set i never rotated because hey got a bad wear pattern in them so the tire shop said burn them off. I plan to rotate my new ones every 3,000 to keep them in good shape.

I rotate them when I see the fronts starting to round over and the rears starting to flatten out. I would guess around 8K-10K miles.

8-10k miles.

If I notice the edge of the tread blocks getting feathered I'll rotate them sooner.

Thanks guys, from the responses I think I am going to try going 10K this time. I am almost up to 5k right now, so that will save me some time this oil change.

5k miles for me. I have mud tires which generally have a softer rubber. I am getting great life out of these. I expect 40-50,000 miles.

same for me, it always feels like brand new tires when you get the rears on the front

Unless they are real flat, then the truck darts back and forth for a 1000 miles or so. lol
