Help identifying mystery insulation part

Hey all,

I recently took my 07 EL limited out of storage (~6 months) and found this part laying in the engine bay on top of the intake. Any idea what it is or where it goes?

Also, anyone know if I can buy a replacement? It seems to have gotten torn up.

Thanks!

That is odd. Did anyone drive your truck while in storage? That part number doesn't show up anywhere. I would call the dealer and see if they can look it up on the computer. That will tell you where is came from.

Yeah, it's weird isn't it? A buddy of mine has been driving the vehicle every couple months but he wasn't aware of it. I'm thinking it may have been around the battery? It seems like i remember seeing it there at one point in time. He had to replace the battery a while back so he may have pulled it out without remembering. Just not sure though.

I'll try to find NumberDummy and see if I can get hold of him.

Thanks!

That's it. I just went and looked at mine. It goes around the battery.

This helps keeping the battery cool as heat from the exhaust manifold can shorten the batteries life.
