I have an 85 Ranger that broke the yolk on the back of the driveshaft. All the local parts stores can't find what I need and I even called Spicer and they couldn't help me. It's marked Spicer 02-2-501. If anyone can help me figure out what I need and where to go or some kind of cross reference that would be great. I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow but can't count on them to have it. Thanks

 

If your talking about the yoke on the driveshaft itself, you should just take your shaft to a drivetrain shop that can repair it properly.

If your talking about the yoke that bolts to the pinion flange, I purchased one for an 8.8 from Randy's Ring and Pinion.

 

The yoke that bolts to the pinion. I just hate to order one and not line up or can't get a u joint for it.

 

The yoke is typically a dealer item. I would check at the local junk yards.

 

As long as you know your current u joint size and axle type, Randy's can ship you the correct part the first time.
