Yes.

You need to pressurize the system when it's cold and look for the leak.

X2 what 85e150six4mtod said.

It could be something as simple as a loose hose clamp or an old radiator cap. Look at your overflow tank and check for a split hose, missing cap or crack in the plastic housing. Look for green residue.

Are you using a heating manifold under an Offy intake? If so, wipe your finger around the fittings after you run it and see if they are 'sweating' fluid.

Yes I do have it under the manifold but I haven't hooked up the hoses yet.

Antifreeze smell

Check for discoloration or what looks like calcium buildup around the water pump. It could be that under pressure your system is spraying a fine mist of antifreeze/coolant. Possibly not enough to puddle or even drip. But you would smell it. Good Luck.

"Also the heater core/box." That would be the usual culprit for coolant odor in the cab.

I had the same problem a year ago, and this was my problem. I couldn't track it down until one day I happened to pop the hood while the truck was warm and running, and noticed just a bit of dampness where one of my hoses left the water pump. It wasn't enough to really lower the coolant level, but was still enough to smell.
