Wow! Have I been away that long? Dropped in to say, "Hi Everyone," before I dash off to Biology 227 Lecture. This is NOT a freshman class. WTH were they thinking? I hope I get through this course with a passing grade.

It's been raining all day here in Boise. Now that I have to go to class, the sun comes out. Typical fall weather. Gotta go.

Howdy Shaun. We turned on the heater tonight for the first time since last winter.

 

HAvent had the heat on at my house yet.

 

I've been spending some time at the Boise VA Medical Center (VAMC) in the Radiology Department. I got the Work-Study position I wanted. Yea me!

Today was my first "official" day, but it was actually my second day of work. I am having a BLAST working with these veterans. I gotta post this in the Vet-Net thread, too.

It's a short-term gig. Only lasts as long as the current semester or 414 hours, whichever comes first. It's related to my major and has the potential of giving me a leg up on the competition when the Radiologic Sciences program application period comes around in February 2014.

 

That is a good thing. Always better to say you have some experience when you graduate and need a full time gig.
