My thought is, you've come way too far with the Red Baron to give up on her now! I know you've got the Dodge now and whatever, so you don't need the Baron as a DD. So, keep it and use it for something. Bring her back! Either option two or three, which ever you feel you can do, but don't just drop her on CL. That would be a truly inglorious end for a truck that has come so far!
Just my 2¢.

Well next weekend my bro is probably coming over and we are gonna get the ol 460 goin! It will still be cummins swapped, but right now I'm trying to find a solid 4x4 manual donor. So I'm 90 percent sure my fuel pump harness end melted and fused it to the pump grounding it out. So I'm gonna get a new end for it and the ol beast should run again! Gonna make it go and stop then I will try to find a buyer for the old drivetrain. After that it's goin under the knife for a cummins with a 6 speed and will go in to the paint booth by the end of 2015. From there it will be put on alcoa dually wheels and made into my new hauler. Progress soon to follow!

Well I gave it a jump start and she fired up! Immediately put it to work
Then the master cylinder completely ate it after driving about 20 feet. Put the brake pedal to the floor at 10 mph and it barely stopped it. I only had to drive it across the yard though so I let it run about half an hour to let it warm up and the fuel pump bit the dust. So my new plan is to get a fuel pump and a new fuel line to make it run again. After that I'm just gonna bomb around the property in it for a little while until I can put all new brakes and service the trans. Then I'm not sure what'll happen but glad to see it's goin strong again.
Suggestions welcome!

I some ways I miss the crew cab and some ways I prefer the single cab.arking and hooking up to a trailer is way easier with the regular cab but the extra storage of the crew cab and hauling more people is always a convenience if they've got gas money...
So today I was cleaning out my truck and a guy stopped at the gate. I let him in and he made an offer on my truck. I said I'd consider it but I'm not sure. So I'm not sure what'll happen for now

No it's sitting in my back yard right now. I'm still in the same town but I moved to another house. I pulled a 23' gooseneck trailer to the new house with my dodge
I had the Red Baron towed because of the fuel pump it would run but only a few minutes so with a jump start I was able to drive it on the flatbed. But when I got to the new house my dodge Dually wouldn't fit through the gate with the trailer so I was able to pull the Red Baron in the back yard with the gooseneck and there it sits. I'm saving money right now but I've been hoarding straight body parts to repaint it this summer including a Dually conversion. It's also getting a 12v cummins with a 5 speed on the floor but I'm still looking for a donor for that.
