I've been using Remflex header gaskets on mine. They are thick and pliable. They are designed to compress and fill in any irregularities in the head and header surfaces. And I also use the Stage 8 Stainless Locking header bolts as well. I'm running Headman Elite full-length headers on mine.

If you have an OUTSIDE oven.......go for it. I wouldn't bake them inside!! They will stink up your house and probably make the better half a little upset!! I baked some headers inside and we thought we were going to have to move!! And my wife made me buy her a new oven!!
