Jimmy, you have a spectacular rebuild going on. You will/do have a truck to be proud of.

It´s really fun to reach some kind of goal.

From just tearing parts apart and cleaning sanding mediablasting, with parts everywhere, in boxes, plastic bags, parts at the painter, parts at the coater, to finally starting to put pieces together again.....

It just gives an outstanding satisfaction

Hey Jimmy,
You are getting there! Do you think you will be driving it this summer?

There seems to be a big old U.S. car culture thing going there in
Sweden. Have you ever been to one of these festivals? Don't seem to be many trucks there.

Naaa definately not this summer. The plan is to have the chassie done this spring (It seems like I am ahead of the plan) and then its cab, bed and body sheetmetal focus and if the economical parts admits maybe paint next spring/fall. Then I need the cash för the engine trans rebuild. So in 2 or 3 years it might be closing up on the finishing line

The old U.S car culture is really big over here with several car events every weekend from early spring to late fall scattered across the country. I have attended some of them over the years.

We actually have one car meet not far from where I live at the 5 January each year. Check it out hear:

The 7th of mars 2015 I am heading to an event called Färnsjörepan (not attending). In lack of saltflats here in sweden we take what we have (Frozen lakes)

Nice work Jimmy.
Now I have read about your frame restoration, I did almost all of that to my truck 25 years ago when I restored my frame.
Bring back good memories of how fun it was to try different ways of getting things done.
I hope to start looking att my truck soon and see if all of it still is in working condition.
