To bad the guy created a situation that no one likes him but he still has a job there.

 

Had a lazy day myself.

 

I had to close the last couple hours by myself but it wasn't too bad. A zone manager from the other end wants me to come to his area to work. He thinks I might not get along with the new zone manger on my end.

 

Yeah she created the issue where no one wants to work with her at all. There are people in my dept that will flat out refuse to work with her. She is someone who gets very argumentative if you even try to suggest ways to make things easier. If she doesnt get her way she gets argumentative and alot of the higher ups were starting to get tired of her. I think my boss is happy she is going somewhere else.

 

You haven't had a reenacting gig lately Shaun.

 

Maybe operations will move better with out her.

 

I have been a bit busy with work the last 2 weeks Rick. We had one last weekend here in MD. I was not able to take off for it since it was on a saturday. It was an 1812 event. We have one this weekend that I will also have to miss due to work. And then the event at FT. McHenry on the 13th,14th,15th. which I will also miss due to work and then the DE GTG on the 15th.

 

Is the new guy a jerk?

They will Rick. She is one you can explain something to her 20 different times and she will still have to ask the same question 30 more times. We have a list during the summer for one of the systems that has ongoing work on it where we have to take certain things and turn them off at a certain time and then turn them on at a certain time. She knows we dont have to write the troubles down if they are already listed on that list. She actually called the on call person for that system to see if she had to write them down. We have never had to do that since before I started and she had been taught that when she started about 4 years ago.

 

That I am Rick. Usually we dont go to the event at Fort Mchenry very often because it is always a pain dealing with the NPS.

 

I just checked the will have the army field band and soldiers chorus there this year. Also an artillery unit from the national guard is always there to help recreate the bombardment from the fort towards the british fleet. And then for the 1812 overture. Also fireworks.

 

What is NPS's problem?
