Hi guys! New VA member here... I'm looking for a stereo installer willing to do custom work in VA

The local shop I was pointed to in Fredericksburg won't do truly custom work for me...

They're good enough to install a normal system in my wife's Audi but I want a custom drilled/mounted rear backup camera, as well as some custom work for a DVD player screen mid-Excursion etc.

Does anyone have a good idea for where to go? I'd love to keep it Central-Northern VA-ish but I'll drive farther if I have to.

Thanks!
Alex

Alex. Try calling Audio One in Richmond on W Broad Street. They do lots of custom work and they should be able to assist with your needs.

Shop managers name is Ian. If you cannot get him ask for Steve or Donny. They put plenty of items in my F150 but they do full custom work also.

Will they do custom work with customer provided parts?

I bought stuff over time to save money.

I haven't asked the question. I would think that they would and they will warranty their work but not warranty the parts.

That would be just fine and completely understandable.

I'm curious to know if Audio One was able to help you out. What came of this?
