Anti-Rattler Kit Choice

Hey folks, I'm looking to replace door runs and side window seals. I see that LMC a window chanel kit ($199), NPD offers a similir anit-rattler kit ($279) and one from Dennis Carpenter ($200). Does anyone have an idea which kit is the best from a materials/construction perspective? I don't have enough experience purchasing from these guys to have an opinion on their quality.

Thanks,
Fred

Most people who have been with FTE for some time are generally UNimpressed with the quality of many of the parts that LMC sell. Dennis Carpenter actually makes many of the parts they sell using Ford tooling. So, generally, DC would be the preferred choice for quality, if not best price.

Hey Guys,
Is there any forums on the "how to" on this? I attempted but may be looking under wrong key words.? I need to replace mine and looking it over, rivets for the wing rubber and on the felt side for the side window guide has me a bit, well, should I do it myself thing? I do all my repairs and such so I know tools.
Thanks,
Hammy

CS65 has probably taken apart more F100/250/350 doors than anyone on the planet! Not sure this has the details you need, but if not he is a great resource.

Division Bar Removal

Thanks for the advice - ordered from DC. Now for the hard part...how does that division bar come out? I've got it all unscrewed, removed the vent window and seals. I've even removed regulator to give me more room to work. But I can't for the life of get that division bar out through the panel opening. It's just too long to angle out.

Any suggestions?

Might not totally help...

...but this is what CS65 just told me in a text message reply when I asked him.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Its removeable through there... But the door should be empty for easiest maneuvering... Regulator and door pull stuff removed...ive got scads of those screws too if they get buggered... Like most do..." <O</O
<O</O
It took me 20 yrs but I learned how to remove them w/o ruining them... Or beating on the door. <O</O
<O</O
Fuzzies also MUST be out too for bar removal. <O</O

I wish I paid more attention in geometry class! Anyway, I've got figured out (at least my set up). After removing the regulator, I laid the division bar flat against the inside of the door and pushed the top up into the window opening near the mirror (picture 1). The rounded bracket that's attached to the division bar was facing the exterior door wall (picture 2). Pushing the top further up, I was able to pull the bottom through the panel opening. Bingo!
