BigReds got a new pair of shoes!!!

Well I have not put any bling on BigRed in awhile so I pulled the trigger on these guys! I fig at 70 I am l not given the kids all my money and I always coveted the alum rims on the F350 and I like the style of the ones on my old F250 . I got them for I thought was a decent price for alum wheel with caps and lugs. The only problem I ran into was I have manual locking front hubs. The caps that came with the wheels was attached to the wheel with the lugs and to lock the hubs you would have had to take off the front wheels or leave the caps off and look at a big hole! So I improvised and drilled a 1in hole in the center of the cap and I dugup a cheapo 7/8 socket that I cut a notch into and welded the socket to a 6in exten bar. So now I have 1 in hole lookin at me . I checked with the body guy at the local Ford dealer and he gave me 2 rubber plugs to cover the holes. They don't look bad and I can pop them out with my finger when needed.

Thanks ya all for the kind compiments! I am not sellin wheels but I got these off FleaBay for $697.00 caps lugs and shipped. I called my order in and the fellas there were very helpfull and the ship was fast! My only problem was a gagged lug nut ! Called and they are sending me a pair so I have a spare. One of my better dealings with a wheel company!

John ! all the wheels are the same! The rear inside uses the same steel wheel! They kind of threw me a curve when I opened the boxes and the wheels were all the same! Called the guys and made a idiot of myself! The man said turn it around!: DUH!!!! Ya get a little slow at my age!!
