1951 EffieCaster

My truck came painted and I am not a huge fan of it right now. It looks like a les schwab tire service truck. I like the paint scheme of your truck. My truck has the Cab to the cowl, the grill, and the upper and lower valences in white. The fenders are blue, so there is an odd interruption to the front of the truck...blue-white-blue. The rest of the truck is a lexus metallic blue. I would rather have it all blue with white grille and light surrounds.
I am going to experiment with color combinations with the guitar. I would like them to match...like Dr. Evil and Mini-Me from Austin Powers.
Thanks...Steve

Here is what it currently looks like from the back...
It is constructed of 16ga sheet, with a pocket made of 1/8" bar/plate to hold the neck. There will be a back of 16ga sheet.
The theme is:
1950 Fender released the broadcaster, later to become the telecaster.
1951 Ford rolled my truck off the assembly line.
1952 Bigsby patented the first vibrato for any guitar.
It currently has a strat neck, but I am going to shape it down to that of a telecaster with room for a 3" Ford oval emblem.
Does anyone know what ford vehicle had a 3"x1.5" ford oval somewhere on it. I can find 4" ovals but not a 3". I may just write EffieCaster on the headstock.
The pickups are going to be seymore duncan hot-rails with push/pull **** selectors. I am thinking about putting the T and C ***** from the 51 dash on the guitar. I am still thinking about something from the dash to top off the pickup selector switch.
It sounds good without amplification right now but there are a few bugs to getting it to sound perfect.
I am collaborating with a luthier in Davis named Harrison Phipps. We built a guitar built with recycled bike parts. Here is a link to see this project.

Thanks for your interest. It is keeping my mind occupied until I can afford a new motor for ol' blue. She is still running but want to put a 1998 Ford 302 from the explorer and build my own megasquirt to control it. I thought that I would start soldering with the guitar parts first.
