I have to thank you for pointing me in the right direction on this. You were correct...it came from a '52 F-1 with a 215 in it. I had been looking only at flathead V8 parts and they were all too long. And I needed short for my application.

I called around to a couple of local boneyards yesterday and came up with one from a '52 F-1 that I was able to pick up this morning.

Again, thanks to you, 51PanelMan, and each of you who contributed to the conversation.
