Excited to be part of FTE
Hi,
My Name is Josh and I live in Helena, AL (just south of Birmingham). I have owned a few Fords over the years and been around several more. My Uncle, who has passed, taught me at a young age the value of caring for your truck and putting your own blood, sweat, and tears into it. The only thing we never saw eye to eye on . . . . he was a bowtie man. But, he did have a 77 F100 we used to drive around when I was a kid. I fell in love with that truck and knew I was a Blue Oval guy from the start. I learned what little I know by helping him rebuild his '57 Chevy and tinkering on the F100.
I recently purchased a 1974 F100 Explorer 360 FE with DuraSpark Electronic Ignition backed by a C6 Tranny. It is in good shape for it age, but I plan on bring the glory back a little at a time. In just the few weeks I've owned the truck, the FTE Forum has been invaluable to getting it back running. I can't wait to really get working on the truck and I know this site will be a necessary resource for getting it done!

Hi Josh, glad to meet you. I've always been a Blue Oval guy too.
This site is the best resource for your Ford truck, if you have any questions
post away.
Also drop an intro into your local chapter and meet those folks too: Alabama Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
