My husband bought 2005 F250 5.4L V8 gasoline SD last October with just under 50,000 miles. While it never seemed to have the power he thought it should, it ran fine. On 8/6 it started sputtering, running rough and CEL came on. Took it to Ford dealership and came back as #6 fuel injector stuck closed which was replaced under extended warranty. Gas mileage better, ran like a champ until 8/14 when CEL on again, gas mileage decrease and going up a grade CEL was flashing. Into dealer again, came back as #8 coil. Paid our deductible on extended warranty, drove away and the next day CEL is on again, loss of power going up grades and CEL flashes when going up a grade. Wondering if anyone else has had similar issue? The "team leader" we have been dealing with wasn't in today so will have to wait til beginning of week to call. Just can't figure out why all the sudden they fix something and then similar issue comes back right away. Any help is appreciated.
