MBRP Eff Up Times Three

MBRP Eff Up Times Three
So, I decided to do my exhaust in my driveway with limited time and in a rush. Well, I tightened my way back and when I got to my muffler, post tightening, I realized I had it on backwards. Internal muffler openings pointing towards the back...so basically I inadvertantly straight piped my truck. Frustration!!! Then I finish and my exit seems like it is pointing down too far. Now I had this all adjusted and room for clearance before I started tightening. Then for icing on the cake...I test drive it and I its bangin somewhere!!!! My questions are, can I folio the muffler now that it tightened? And am I screwed now that its tightened up?

You'll be able to fix it. When you take it apart, gently tapping with a mallet can get the ends to spread back out slightly.
Did you get cat back or turbo back? I've installed a few & usually it's the bigger downpipe banging. Try shaking DP & see if it might make contact. Recommend you start loosening from tip to turbo outlet. Fix muffler orientation. With everything together but not tight, readjust DP. Keep moving towards tip adjusting & tightening as you go. Once done, check alignment one more time then test drive. After a few drives, check bolts again.
Hope that helps.

Also you should be able to find a pipe expander if you
need a bit more so you can slip the pipe back together.

Turboa back off road system. It looks like my second pipe off the down pipe is not up far enough. This was a bear to get on to begin with. I think I have to find a way to get the second d pipe up the DP more.....its a horrible angle though and damn near impossible. I will try the rest you suggested.

Yes. There's a difference in the number of turbine fins in the exhaust housing that's responsible for that.
