Tranny in my f250 finally went out after 210K miles.

Looking for a recommendation on a good tranny shop in the Austin/Round Rock/Georgetown area.

Also, recommendation on whether or not the Ford 4r100 HD tranny is worth the extra 600-700 bucks? I don't tow much, but do run larger tires and a programmer.

(I'm getting mixed messages from the dealers i've called as to whether the HD tranny option will even work on my particular truck. I thought the option was for all the F250's, but one dealer said there are different versions and the HD tranny's electronics are different and may not work with my specific VIN.

Details are 2002 F250 CC 4wd 7.3
