value of the fender/door trim pieces?

not that im looking to sell at the moment, but im trying to gauge how much care i should take in removing these trim parts from the truck as I prefer the all white look to the gold bottom trim on the EB.

if its like 50 bucks...ill be ripping with less care.

few hundred bucks and ill bust out the fishing line and do it the hard way.

I love mine, but if they were worth money I would consider selling them personally.

guess parting out would be the ticket...doubt anyone would need an entire set lol

Just a reminder guys, actively selling in the tech forums is not allowed.

Ford Truck Enthusiasts - Discussion Forum Guidelines

6. Personal Items For Sale . For Sale items are not allowed in the automotive and general discussion forums of FTE. This includes placing ads or links to ads in your signature. We have a Classifieds section that you can list your items in. Want ads are allowed in the forums so long as you post a follow-up when you find the part(s). Vehicle value discussions are permitted, however, if we find it turning into a for sale thread, the thread will be removed. The only exception to this guideline is the Chapter Forums. There is a specific thread in each Chapter Forum, for Chapter Members only, that is intended for local for sale items.

They're worth exactly what someone's willing to pay for them. Remember, they are hard to find now, especially in good shape.

I think I got $20 for the scratched front fender one to a local guy, and I think I got about $100 for one of the rear quarter ones, but that included shipping (expensive due to size). The four door ones themselves are probably worth $50, but the entire kit should be worth more.

No, I don't think he'll delete it he's just wanting to keep the thread on track is all Personally I would only sell mine as a complete set and let the person that buys it keep what they wanted and deal with the hassle of parting out the rest. I'll probably never remove mine but if I do it'll just be to get it rhino-lined and put back on.

Absolutely not. It's more than ok to talk about the value of something. But often times, someone will offer a specific amount for a part, then a response ensues, and then haggling starts, and then deletion occurs because the thread crossed the lines.

I was just trying to keep that from happening.
