1966 F100 352 5.8L V8 CARBURETOR

Hello All,

I am new to FTE and was wondering if I could get some help. Helping my boss find parts for his 1966 F100. Right now we are looking for an original carburetor or something comparible. I have been looking online and contacted a couple Ford dealers without much luck.

Its a 1966 F100 352 5.8l V8
Double Barrel, manual choke

Any info would be great!

Thanks!

prts_chick06 Welcome to FTE & the Slicks Forum.

One of the first things you will have to learn is you are dealing with a 352 CID not a 5.8L

These carbs are not terribly hard to find, but...most of them are pretty worn by now. The shafts can get sloppy and it makes for air leaks. He may want to consider a Holley 2v replacement which is available brand new. Will fit the original intake and accept the air cleaner as well. You can get them from most any speed shop or online store like Summit or Jegs.

You probably can tell im not to familiar with this truck, but what is the CID? Whenever I have looked at websites online, they havent giving me the option for a CID, always came up with the 5.8L V8.

Thanks for the sites! I will check them out.

Welcome to FTE

FoMoCo began using liter designations for engines beginning in 1980.

352 (cid) 2V: 1965/67 F100/350. Came with an Auto-Lite 2100 series 2V

1969: FoMoCo replaced the original 1965/68 2100 series carbs with: C9UZ-9510-AA =

KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has ONE = 800-816-2894.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653.

CID = cubic inch displacement. Currently 5.8L is a 351W, you also have a 351 C, and a 351M. You are working with a 352.

All this L stuff came years after the FE series was installed.

Do you need one for an automatic or straight drive? I have one for an automatic.
