Newbie engine swap question

Hi guy,
First post, I did a search but found nothing.
I am buying a 1975 f250 super cab with a dead 460 w auto. My son has a fresh rebuild 454 & th450 he was going to put on his 74 suburban but offered it to me. Will a bbc 454 fit in a 75 f250?
What major mods will need to be done other than motor mounts @ drive shaft.
Or should I rebuild the 460

Daily driver, towing a bbq trailer often.

You can make it fit, but it will be fairly trickey.

Fords are front distributor, and Chevy's rear distributor. Along with oil pan sumps.

Lol well here I would say rebuild the 460. You could make the 454 fit but I haven't seen that swap.

460 ALL THE WAY! Haha I was just expecting to have to write at least 4-5 posts convincing you to do it.

Thanks Keith. I was pretty much planning on rebuilding it but thought I would ask. If it was an easy swap others would have done it already and I could not find anything on google or two ford truck sites about doing the swap. I like keeping it pure anyway. I may or may not buy it, I really want a short bed F100 75/74 super cab but darn hard to find.
