Picked up this new project today, 1978 F150 Ranger Super Cab 4x4 long bed.

Has 20k on the 351, Has C6. Got this ole girl for $400. Here she is as it came in on a trailer. I have to replace floorboard on drivers side, and do some other minor stuff.

Yeah, not too bad for it's age. It came with something I didn't want, about 25-30 bags of garbage in the bed, that was a smelly mess to clean out

First order of business was cleaning this mess up......

 

even at 400.00 bucks, even if you had to spend a week cleaning raw sewwage out of it, you still got a decent deal.

 

Oh yes, I got a very good deal on it, I had the bed cleaned out in about 90 minutes

 

How is this project coming? is it running? Are you driving it? How does it run?

I haven't started on it yet, I will begin working on it soon. Won't be ready to drive till at least next spring,as I have a lot of resto work to do on it. Previous owner said it ran and drove great when it was last driven a year ago
