as far as a fan controller, you can get a kit at autozone for cheap that comes with a thermostat and relay setup. this kit will mount a thermostat in the radiator fins and the fans will come on at whatever temp you desire.

I wired my fans up to a relay and a switch under my steering wheel that only has power with the key on. i can leave my fans on always, or switch them on when the temp gets to half. i like the switch better.

also, you got two (2) red fans right? you will need two to get the proper cfm.

ok cool man good luck. the wiring is pretty straight forward. i put the relay near the batter mounted to the radiator support. let me know if you have questions. the fan kits should come with the mounting pins

Do you have an aftermarket temp gauge? Or are you basing your overheating by the factory gauge? Because the factory gauges are not very accurate. I would run a aftermarket 3 gauge pod to better monitor your fresh engine. $50-60 at a local parts store. Also, what temp rating is your t-stat? Could try swapping to a 180 degree one. Also what is the condition of your radiator, coolant, and water pump, and fan clutch?
I am running a stock water pump, fan and fan clutch, Factory HD rad, and a 180 degree t-stat in my Bronco with a 440+ hp 358W. And sitting in bumper to bumper traffic in 95 degrees, it never got over 200. And cruising down the road it sits right at 175-180. I'd check your entire cooling system before spending money where it may not be needed.

those fans would work well because they are built into a shroud. one is for AC on and the other is run by temp. you could run them both at the same time and get some good cooling. i dont know how much CFM they are.

I went back over this thread but did not see you answer TheGageinator's post about the 2 most important things to note when doing this upgrade.

Since it seems like you have them installed correctly and all parts are new in the cooling system the only thing to do now is triple check the fine print. Pictures might also help as more then 2 eyes looking at a project are sometimes better then just 2...
