Its a stock turbo with a 360* thrust washer and anti-surge wheel.
Wastegate deleted.
Non ebpv outlet...

Dont waste your money.
For another couple bills... just get a 38r.

I agree with Chris. I did everything they did but the anti-surge wheel to mine for under $300. If I add the wheel, I'm probably right @ $500. Save yourself $600 and do those mods yourself to your existing turbo. I kept my wastegate for safety reasons...

It's a clean looking turbo and the seller looks very qualified but I agree just buy the 38r turbo from an actual diesel seller.

I am guessing you mean the wastegate? Well, it is my wife's daily driver. I didn't want to take any chances on cooking the turbo before I had a chance to install gauges. The gauges came right after the turbo rebuild and EBPV delete. I instead adjusted the wastegate so it would open later.

Bill, let me clarify my comment on the product in question....Ron's Turbo puts together a fine product from all I have learned and heard over the years. The turbo is not a problem. If I needed a whole turbo for an engine, this is one place I would certainly check for a good one. That said, the OP has a working turbo with some issues that can be resolved without buying a whole new one if he wants to. The turbo he has can be upgraded/repaired for much less than this particular one costs. That is a van outlet on there. Those can be had for not much money if you look around. I could probably barter for one around here. It doesn't have a wastegate, obviously, and I, personally, am not comfortable deleting that off a daily driver (just my opinion there). Especially with my wife who laughs about smoking people out in the 110hp tune.
