Whistling when blower motor engaged

Started noticing a slight whistle a few weeks back. Had my mechanic check the A/C system out and said nothing was wrong with it. Fine...maybe a noisy pulley or something like that.

Well, yesterday, it starts it, but even louder and then it cuts the volume of air its moving down to basically nothing.

I have done my research on here and ordered the resistor, motor wheel, and a new blower motor just to have at the ready. I couldnt ever find out what anyone every did to solve the whistling.

I'm going to make sure nothing was sucked up into the intake later today. And all my vents are open, btw!

Thanks!!

The bearings in the motor may be toast?

Is there a "blending door" that may be stuck?
