Replacing the Inards of a '55 F100 Door
'55 F100. Drivers door glass is inside the door but inoperative and sitting intact in the bottom of the door. Lock is missing too. Looking at the parts diagram in a LMC truck catalogue I see there is a lot of stuff in there. Any well known do and don't about putting the inside of this door back together?

Doors have a specific order for putting stuff back in. Do a search on this forum, there are good directions. For a quick version - vent window/frame, divider bar, window regulator, rear glass channel then place glass into holder, attach to regulator and run it in the channels. Keeping the screws on the window regulator, divider and rear glass channel lose helps everything until you get the glass to go up and down freely then tighten. The locks and door latch can then be installed. Take your time and you'll get it.
