77 F100 Freewheelin' Build Thread

Good Morning everyone, I have been hanging around and reading everyone's threads and researching how to restore my truck. It is a 1977 F100 Custom with the freewheelin' graphics package. It has a 302 and a C5 trans. The PO put them in.... Starting with redoing the floor pans and cab gaskets and rubbers. Gonna start posting pis here real soon.

So here is a pic of the truck as it sits now.

Big plans for it to come. I have a 351w and a ZF5 to put in to replace the weak 302/c5 combo.

Also need to get the seat recovered. I want to get it done with grey cloth in the inset instead of the vinyl.

Looks good, The Dodge rims actually don't look too bad on there.

Those are Ford Rims, off a 1997 or newer truck though

Thanks for all the compliments. Yep the rims came off my old 2000 F150. The original wheels were on the truck when I bought it, but the tires were dry rotted and flat. They will be going back on the truck.

Progress has halted while wait on more cut off wheels to finish the floor pans. The more rust I cut out, the more I find.

Subscribed, but only as long as you plan to keep those stripes.

If the bank allows it, I would have the strips painted on with the original pattern.

But then they wouldn't be reflective, which is one of the reasons they're so neat in the first place.
