fuel issue

On my 97 f250 7.3 is starving for fuel, acts like it is running out.. changed mechanical fuel pump, filter and bypassed fuel tank selector valve and it still runs out of fuel and dies under a load. runs fine at idle... any ideas???

have you checked the injection pump? I have had them either flood or stave the engine when they go out.

your best bet for this is to ask down in the 94-97 powerstroke diesel forum .some real smart fellers down there to get you back on the road in tip top condition.
