Me to taking the grandson for a bronco ride and washing the dust off the tires and blowing the spider webs out of the carb.

Now we all are going fishing....

Hi, still here, just don't have much reason to post much. Still slowly plugging away on the Jeep.

Nice pictures guys.

The van is back up and running. The same rodent that ate the vacuum line also ate the harness to the cylinder head temp sensor. After a bit of fussing with it, I managed to get the connector rewired and the harness back in.

Tomorrow I have to do some yard work so the Dish Network guy can come in and put in the permanent Dish in the middle of next week. Our old system finally gave up the ghost and a the new one is going out in the yard so it can have a better signal. Hopefully that will get done quickly so I can turn my attention back to the camper. I really want to go camping again before the year is over.

anyone here a mower guru? My mower got stolen and i picked up a rider with a newer motor for stupid cheap but its got a few quarks (i did get the front mowed with though so it does work) that i need some help with its a Wards Signature series 2000 elite with a 14.5 horse brigs. The problem i am having is one for some reason in reverse it will through the belt if i hit a bump or in my case drop the well in a 10" hole and also two if i put it in reverse not only does it stick but the brake doesn't work in reverse i have to shut it down put it in forward then start it back up brake does work going forward. Also need to know where i can get a carb rebuild kit in springfield for the mower since i have to run it with the choke pretty much all the way out.

Throwing belts could be from mis-alignment or the belt being too long.

If you have the model number off the engine, you can look up the carb kit at an online retailer to get the part number. Once you have the part number, check with O'Reillys. I've had pretty good luck finding them there lately.

The shifting problem is a toughie, but it could be from the belt being too small. Most of these systems use slack in the belt as a clutch mechanism. Too small of a belt = the "clutch" not releasing enough for gear changes - especially in and out of reverse.

If I were closer, I'd come take a look at it...

well if your ever in springfield let me know and i will be more then happy to let you look it over. All in all even with its issues it did good mowing my front yard once i got it it up and going and i only paid 70 bucks for the thing. I ran into another issue apparently my guesstimating is not to good on size my mower won't fit through the gate to my back yard DOH! it also keeps chewing through starter drive gears but i think we figured out why and ordered a few different kits to compare to compare looks like it was missing a few parts for the bendix and drive gear so it wasn't working right

Sounds like a good model #. You're probably gonna want the type & code too for a carb kit.
