That's correct, and its just 2 wires from what i remember. I would have to go back in my own thread lol. Just look for the switch when i got mine one was blue and one was green because they changed the colors in the newer models to blue so i hunted ebay and found a new switch for 20 bucks.

Did anyone actually figure out the re-pinning locations? I've been messing round with mine for a while and I've got both rears going up and down as well as the passenger window with the master switch. I have only two wires left and two locations in the master switch, but neither way moves the window up or down. The only thing I can figure is the master switch is bad. Each door switch is backwards too, so I'll have to swap those pins, but that only happened when I got the master switch wired in. When I had the other switches in, they worked normally.

I'd like to avoid breaking into the switches because re-pinning is much easier in my mind. But, I will do it if I have to. It just seems like every thread on here and other boards say to re-pin, but not one of them show pics of what pin goes where or even a written description. Some of the threads finish with the swapping the switch halves.

That's exactly how I have it pinned, and the drivers window doesn't move and the other three are fine if you're using the master switch. If you use the switch at each window, it's backwards.

I'm going to just mate the switches. The pictures of the lock switch are very helpful, thank you! I'll have to move the pins back, but I don't care as long as it works afterwards.

Thank you so much for your help! I just want these damn things to work. I've had the '14 mirrors and have been working intermittently at getting them to operate properly. I hemmed and hawed about going with the 08 door panels, but I eventually got them because I wanted the OEM look for the power extend switch. All of this mess because of one dumb switch that Ford just HAD to go with the undermount design.

That's strange...

If you go through my build thread i wired them up and have the power folding and telescoping working its a PITA but worth it IMO, my mirror controls are backwards though with the glass but i dont care i never adjust them.

I got the rockers switched over and ready to install the 08 top to the 05 bottom. The top snaps over the bottom, but the bottom of the 05 is wider than the 08 top.

How did you get this to work?

I must have different 08+ switches than you. These simply do not line up with the 05 bottom.

I had repinned mine and it worked so i honestly never ripped the master switch apart only the lock switches. What year and cab style is your truck?

05 Crew. I put the 08 switch back together, but I ran out of time. The truck is going in this morning for a new trans. I'm wondering if the actual switch is bad. I have a buddy with a '13 that I can possibly use his switch in my truck or even try my switch in his truck.

FWIW, the 04 connector and the 05 connector are identical.

Are the 02 connectors different from the 05?

I'd imagine the connectors are the same for 99-07...I was referring to the actual wiring location and colors between 04 and 05. If you have an 02, pull the connector and verify the wire color and location with the above image. It should take but a second.

My 99 250 and 04 ex have different connectors for the switches.

As for the mirrors, if you take the three adjustment wires and switch them around, not matching colors, you will eventually get them to work. I put 08 mirrors on the ex and had to work the wires around a bunch of times to get the mirrors to work correctly. Its only 3 wires that adjust the glass.
