Dodge is the only one still selling 3/4 and 1 ton diesels with a manual transmission. Chevy and Ford do not.

You can still get a manual 4x4 shifter on the floor but will probably have to order it.

Not that I'm aware of; but anything can be done for a price.

Only Dodge 3/4 and 1 ton pickups have this option. Kinda wish Ford would offer this option.

yep, ford hasn't had manual transmissions for a few years now. You can still get a manual transfer case(still standard on base up through XLT)on all trim levels below Lariat, but most dealers don't stock trucks with them unless it's a base model and then a lot of those even have the ESOF system.

Ops question was also about the 4x4 manual...that you can still get.

Transmission....is a different story.

Yeah, the ESOF has been such a great system, like the fantastic automatic transmission on these trucks, that dealers just don't even bother ordering them without, so you'll probably have to order one yourself the way you want it unless you get lucky.

If you want a manual transmission, you'll have to option one in a heavier duty truck, starting with the F650. There's just no real reason to get away from the current auto, with its gear lock-out, manual shift mode, and PTO. It's just a great transmission.

A ZF6 from a 6.0L will bolt to the engine and should bolt to the transfer case. Then you'll have to install a clutch pedal and make some wiring changes. I think the PCM will still work without the automatic, if not, you'll have to modify the software to make it work. And I think the ZF is a different length than the 6R140 automatic, so you will have to shorten one driveshaft and lengthen the other.

Certainly some work but if you had a donor truck then maybe a nice weekend project.

Aside from being a downgrade just to be able to say you've done it, it also means the mounting setup will have to be modified (at best, probably redone entirely). It's not just going to be a quarter inch in one direction or the other.
