1975 f250 Long Travel Kit?

I was just wondering if there is a kit out there that fits on a 2wd 1975 f250, other than the autofab kits 1965-79 Ford F150 2WD Suspension
I'm looking to make a mild prerunner style truck if that helps. I've never done this before and I was wondering what it would take. I don't want anything too fancy or overkill. Anything helps!

I have only seen 2 kits one being AutoFab the other being The-GMR.

Concerning the GMR kit I have only seen videos and pictures of the design and build process and an intent to sell it in kit form, I have not seen the kit for sale and have not contacted them as this is a ways down the road for my truck.

Most people modify/make their own kit. As of 3 days ago there was 2 kits on Craigslist in the LA California area, one of which is being sold by a member here ChaseTruck754.

AutoFab kits are based off what KingPin size you have, MULTIPLE sizes.

Also check Giant Motorsports or start digging into more Desert Racing based forums.

there was also a race team out of kingman az. called TnC machine. they had a nice late 70's supercab prerunner that they built. not sure what they used to build it.

you can also get a hold of spirit racing, down in East co. San Diego.

does your F250 have dual or single pistons front brakes?

Both Steve's (Chasetruck754) and another one are posted in the LA Craigslist still.

----autofab lift kit - 73-79 Ford trucks--- Steve's

Autofab Suspension The other one.

Notice the different KingPin sizes, there are more sizes than these 2, my 78 Crew Cab would require the set from the 2nd add and I would love to buy it but I just had my wedding/honeymoon and the can't afford any goodies

the giant motor sports kit uses different style beams and spindles... ball joint vs. king pin. plus it's front steer vs. your factory rear steer. not to sure what the dimension's are for there beam mounting on the frame/ cross member. Steves' 7/8 king pin beams will bolt up to your truck now, the other kit from san diego/ LA craigs list will require you to upgrade your brakes to the dual piston style mc to get the front brakes to work correctly, but, would be a good upgrade to the 1" king pin spindle and fairly easier to do. ** like sooper camper said, anything can be done, just dig deep in that wallet!

no worries on amateur questions! ask away.
