Raptor Tire and Wheel ??

I am looking to purchase a set of Raptor tires and wheels to put on my 13 S-Crew Lariat.

2 questions I have about this combo. Does anyone know WITHOUT A DOUBT that these will fit with no rubbing after installing a 2" leveling kit?

The other question I have is, will the 5th tire and wheel fit under the bed in the stock location?? I have a chance to buy all 5 for a pretty good price and would like to keep it functional as a "Stock" truck!!!

I'm assuming they are the newer 13-up wheels then? I've seen sets of 4 for around half that. I'd like a set of the 09 or 10-12s. I like that style. Make sure you post pics!

Yup...13's. The ones with the machined face. Brand new takeoffs. Maybe I should keep looking, cause I thought this was a good deal?!?!?

Brand new take offs sure that's a good deal. Look at what they would cost you to buy them separately. I'm just saying the older style are less. How soon are you getting them? I want to see how they look on a non Raptor like my truck

I like the older style, Toyota TRD has simar ones and I just like that style. Maybe because they have had time to "grow on me" 👍

2k for wheels and tires isn't a bad deal. First check to see what a new set from you dealer parts dept. would cost. Then price the tires on tire rack or other tire sites of your choosing and you'll be able to see your savings. Then you can decide if it's the right deal for you or not. If the tires rub and the wheels are the same size you could always mount you stock tires to the Raptor wheels, the you'll know they'll fit. If not some others could tell you what the stock tire size for that wheel size is. Then you could get a set of replacement tires to fit. Then sell or trade the Raptor tires to offset the cost of the replacement tires.

I think the Raptor wheels are 17" not sure about the '13 but up to that point they are, and IIRC 315/75-17 tires

Yeah, but the op didn't say what his wheel size is. Now I have a dumb question. What does IIRC stand for? Cause I can't figure that out. I know I'm an idiot. What can I say?

If I recall correctly. I assume the lariat has at least 18" wheels. No dumb questions here sir!

They are 18's. I have read that the 17's will clear the calipers with no problem.

I don't really like the older style, and am not a big fan of the beadlock style either. As I said in a previous post...they are the black painted machined face of the "spokes".

I am in no hurry to get these as they are a mutual friends stuff and they aren't being listed for sale at the moment. I need to get a leveling kit and get that installed first.

I was just wondering if anyone knew that they would fit without rubbing, and will the spare tuck up with the factory hanger?

Oh ok thanks for the definition. That's what I thought for the lariat as well. Not sure about the Raptor though. And I wasn't sure if he had opted for a different size wheel. Because I thought and I could be wrong though, but I think you could opt. for 17's, 18's, or 20's on the Lariats. But the 18's I think were standard.

Not sure about the spare, might just have to try it. Unless someone else chimes in? Agreed on the bead lock, not my style either

I test drove a truck that had SVT wheels, and 315s on it before I ended up with mine. It only had the leveling kit, but I do not know for sure how high. I didn't get any rubbing on the test drive, but had the salesman sitting right beside me so I didn't get all Dukes of Hazzard on him. Although it did cross my mind. The SVT wheels it had looked just like the Raptor sitting beside it, and it looked like someone had put them on to make it resemble the Raptor. I loved it, and hopefully someone can nail this down, because I may do the same thing.

Hope it helps a little bit. I may try to sneak back and try to look at the tires and see if I can find any evidence of rubbing.

They actually had 2, one was a 2010, and one was a 2012. Both had 17s on them.
