Question Raider Industries customer non-support

G'day from Australia.
Has anybody on the forum had any dealings with Raider Industries fiberglass
Truck tops?

I have a Nomad 2 cap on my 2002 F250 XLT, it was on it
when I bought it.

I need a second key for it and for some reason I can't get one
cut here, they say the blank is not available in Australia.

The local dealer said he would get me one if I gave him the number.
I did this and have been totally ignored ever since.

I then tried contacting the after sales support of the manufacturer.
I have tried to get an answer three times so far and have been,
once again, ignored.

If any body knows how to get a response from these people please
let me know.

Not a clue about truck caps in general however doing a quick search for your brand name came up with two dead links via Google.

Finally found Raider Industries has been acquired by another outfit here in the USA: About-Freier-s

If it would be beneficial to contact them via phone I'd be happy to jump in for you, save a few bucks long distance charges. PM if I can help!

JWA,
Many thanks for the link to Freier-s.
I will give them a try and see how I get on.
If I still draw a blank I will get in touch with you by PM.
Thanks a lot for the offer to call on my behalf.

I am constantly impressed with the friendly and helpfull
attitude of F truck owners on this forum.

I installed Raider canopies for 2 years. Have one on my current truck and lost my keys. the easiest way is to replace the lock itself. I could also see if they have the key number as my buddy still works there now.

Rob,
That is very kind of you.
The number of my key is TRI045.
If you are able to get hold of another key let me know and I will PM you
my address and arrange to pay for it.
Many thanks.

Rob's help might be even better than my offer!

Get extra keys if they're available, especially if they're hard to come by in Oz.

Most of us are here to help, even more so if we've encountered a similar problem and found the solution.

Good luck with this!

JWA,
I had not forgotten your offer of help just leaving it as a last resort.
Just after I responded to your first post I recieved an automatic reply
email from Raider saying that the rep was on vacation and would get
back to me when he gets back to work.
I thought I would give them a chance before I impossed on you to phone them.
Many thanks again for your offer.

No imposition at all Brian---after all I probably owe a few Aussies a favor or two after their hospitality to me in the 70's!

PM if I can help, don't be bashful!
