Anywhere from 3.29 to 3.59 in chicago, depending on how far into the city you go. I was out in MtCarroll/Savanna day before yesterday and they were still holding at 2.99 but getting ready to go to 3.04. Across the river in Sabula is still 2 eighty something. Oil was trading just over 90 bucks a barrel yesterday so it's sure to get worse as that stuff wont hit the market for a while. Mostly this is a result of a steadily falling US dollar thanks in no great part to our current monetary policies........print print print print.

I spend $700 a year alone on renewal stickers for my trucks. This state loves taxes. They raise them to cover their budget deficits and when that money comes in, they somehow think they have more to spend! I'm seriously planning my move out of state. If I'm going to live in a state that's going to suck me dry, I might as well move to one with some redeeming qualities.

"In city" Chicago today I saw BP@ 3.39 reg/3.49 mid/3.61 prem with diesel at a mind blowing 3.89 a gallon. And that was near Pulaski-Fullerton. Further east would probably be higher yet as it usually is. We're just now seeing some of the 90+ dollar a barrel oil hitting the retail markets, gonna get worse is my guess.

just paid 3.49 on a roadtrip to michigan... good thing i swapped my truck for my sisters car for the trip... else it woulda cost me an arm and a leg xD her car gets roughly 4x the mileage of my truck.
speaking of which... i have a bad o2 sensor, and its because my exhaust is all hacked up, planning on replacing this summer. But would that cause my half ton to get 10mpg? its only a little 302.
