Hitches and mounts
My truck is a '94 CC dually FT Centurion. It has a Drawtite class V hitch. The problem is the mount wobbles. Should it wobble? Should it be rock solid and not move? I just bought a new mount and installed it. It wobbles. I looked in the hitch tube and at the front inner edge on there seems to be a hump. On my original mount it has wear marks from this hump. Is any of this right? Do I need a new hitch too?

What I would call the hitch mount is the part that is bolted to the truck and never comes off. That part darn well better not wobble.
The part that slides into the receiver tube and is held in with a pin is what I'd call the draw bar. It sounds like that is what you are talking about. That pretty much always wobbles.
There are clamps that go over the draw bar before you slide it into the receiver and you tighten bolts down to clamp it in place to stop the wobble. I've never used them but I've seen them advertised.
But usually a trailer will have enough toung weight to kee the draw bar tight down, so not much moves. And even if it does, about the worst that happens is you might hear some clunking.
Or the alternative is to leave the draw bar in and drive it all winter in the salt belt. Pretty soon it'll be rusted in solid and it'll never move!
