I removed the front bumper and am replacing it with a new one. The original bolts [27+ years old] were quite difficult to remove. I managed to salvage two, but had to cut the others.

These are 1 1/2" long with 1/2" carriage bolts and the stainless cap. I thought I could get them locally, but am having difficulty.

The Ford dealership [parts] said they could not help. I went to their body shop and asked about old parts bins. They had 4, but they are either metric or ~7/16" by 1 1/2".

Fastenal can only offer stainless steel without a cap. Another local fastener company has chrome plated, but nothing larger than 7/16".

LMC has an eight piece package [bolts and nuts], but is back-ordered for a projected 5 weeks.

Can anyone make a suggestion or have any extra ones on hand? Hopefully, some of the guys I have corresponded with.

take the old ones to the hardware store and get new ones that's what I did.
