Question trading truck swapping exhaust and tuner

so something ive been thinking about in the back of my head is to get rid of the 2008 6.4 that we have before 200k miles. we have put 10kmiles on it already in 6 months wich is 3x's the amount i put on my old diesel all year. the truck now has 141kmiles and i love how it runs with the straight pipe and H&S black maxx. now my thinking is to eventualy find a new 6.4 with less miles and swap the parts over. what all would i have to do other than the whole exhaust and programmer. i would guess the EGR will be junk on my current truck by the time i get a new truck due to running the HD300 tunes. is there anything else i would have to swap over? anyone know if all 6.4's have the same exhaust and egr parts or if maybe they have been updated and wont swap? just something ive been thinking about being the programmer are not getting any cheaper i would like not to have to buy another.

Do you have EGR delete or just the H&S delete? If your just running the h&s egr delete you just put the truck to stock with the tuner, pull the exhaust, put the old one on and your done.

All parts for the three plus years are interchangeable.

Swap DPF/Exhaust, turn your current truck to stock, then tune your new truck.

The only people that I've heard saying that are the ones running Spartan tuners as their DashDaq supposedly cycles the EGR to lessen the chances of a stuck EGR.

Why would you want to put an older EGR on your new trk anyway? Lol.
