Haven't given up on the crew cab in case anyone was wondering. Between working out issues with the boat trailer and family obligations I haven't had much free time.

I do have it in the garage now working on the reverse lights which are needed for the brake lockout on the trailer. Turns out the NSS is bad and am waiting for the part this week.

The real culprit is my new ride that I picked up a couple of months ago.

At least it's a Ford, nice one at that too.

Ha, I'll probably never be done with upgrades. I've done most of the upgrades I want on the truck though - down to maybe things like power door looks and maybe an AMP Research power running boards. I guess if somebody was to twist my arm I would consider Dana 60 front axle but that is very pricey and my HP Dana 44 seems to be working well.

For the Shelby, probably a sound system upgrade with back-up camera and smaller supercharger pulley and not much else.

As for the truck, the new NSS should be here this week and I'll be able to check another box off on the project list!

Well, received the new NSS switch yesterday and found that it didn't resolve my problem. I did some digging and found my problem was actually that I wired the NSS switch wrong and had adjusted the switch incorrectly. Found an old post from Mikeo0o0o0 once again that had very specific information that helped me verify that I had the switch hooked up right this time. Didn't know about the guide pin hole to align neutral - that helped me verify what I had done wrong the first time around.

The NSS works correctly now as well as the reverse light! While I had the dash apart I fixed my drivers side A/C duct issue that I've been annoyed with and replaced the wiper motor. I also re-charged my AC and is blowing cold again. I think I have a leak that I am going to need to track down as I just charged the A/C last year.

The down-side is that it was 100 degrees in the garage today - I almost stopped several times but got stubborn and wanted the truck to be running again so stuck with it. Rewarded myself with a trip to the local watering hole and and had a nice big Lagunitas IPA with the wife.

If I can get everything together I might be taking it to the Sierra's next weekend to tow the boat. A lot left to finish between now and then though so we'll see how it goes. The Holley Sniper EFI and Gear Vendors still holding up nicely with no problems - I absolutely love the driveability of the the truck now. Getting down to just cosmetic items now so the finish line is finally in site. I'll probably finish the painting this fall when the weather is not so hot since I need to paint in my garage.

parking brake
Doug wonder how you would rearrange a parking brake to install gear vendor on a divorced 205 manual tranny/complications

Where did you get that t-case parking brake from?

I see it's made in Canada!

That would definitely complicate the install. I'm thinking the brake would mount to the rear of the overdrive. If you are considering this I would give GV a call to verify. Most likely somebody has done this before, or at least tried.

Kinda like asking yourself "how short can my driveshaft be"? Lol.

Wonder if anyone has ever doubled up a GV to drop the rpms even lower. Kind like a NP203 + NP205 Doubler. A man can dream :P

Love it! May be too late but I had the same issue with the wiper motor and it turned out the bolt that secures the wiper motor and ground strap was a bit loose.
