Sled pulling questions.

Ya, but the clutch will not like it. If you want to get into it and are going to start out for fun my opinion is go for it. 2nd gear and see what you can do. You'll drastically shorten the life of your clutch but you're going to need a new one to be competitive anyway.

Personally, I'd still wait until the truck could handle the abuse I wanted to throw at it. Then again my attitude is that its not worth doing if its not worth doing right. Just my opinion though.
I'm not sure if the Luk clutch will hold up to one or two pulls in second gear or not honestly. My guess would be it will slip like crazy.

Its not that weak. Its that sled pulling is that hard on a truck. I've had a ceramic single disc slip like crazy hooked to a sled in 2nd gear and 2 wheel drive in my own truck. I knew better than to pull it with a single disc, but was drunk and didnt care. Lol. Sled pulling is hard as hell on drivetrain parts
