For the life of me I cannot find anywhere to pass wires through into the cab of my truck. Am I missing a grommet somewhere or have you guys done what I'm about to do and drill a small hole through the firewall to pass my wires through?
The only wires from engine to cab I can find go through connectors, so I'm planning to drill a hole next to one of the connectors, I'm open to any better ideas.
Yeah, you have to add a new hole.
If you have an automatic, there's a blank plate covering the spot where the clutch master cylinder would be. On mine, I've unbolted that and punched holes in it for snow plow control cables, and lots of wiring.
Yeah mine is stick so I don't have that blank, I guess I'll just have to go ahead and drill myself a new hole. Does anyone have an idea of what standard sizes they make rubber grommets in? I'm thinking I'll use a holesaw to cut a large hole and just put a rubber grommet in that I can punch more holes in as I need to run more wires in the future.
I'd see what the local parts house has, and get something like this:

Mine had a rubber plug below the master cylinder area. The plug is hollow in side, so I nipped the end off and it was the perfect size to run the coax for my CB

I used the same hole, only I removed the plug. Because I needed a little more room.
