Impossible to find 16 inch steel wheels.

I asked here a couple of days ago but I will try once again because I have difficulties to find 16x7 or 16x6 inch steel with 5x5.5 bolt pattern for my truck. I have been looking at Wheel Vintiques, Rallyamerica, The Wheelsmith, Early Wheel, Cokertires, Hotrodhanks. I prefer the original look and have been looking for OEM Wheels or Gennies without the multi-lug.
The Wheelsmith have 16 inch OEM Wheels but only 8-bolted and some others have 16 inch Gennies but only with the multi-lug. I would appreciate
suggestions before I have to go for the Gennie and cover the multi-lug with a cap. Is it difficult to find used 16 inch Truck Wheels? I suppose the older Truck Wheels often were narrower like 16x4.5 or 16x5. Thanks!

I never used them but Stockton wheel service will make them. check out the Series 20 wheels, they will make anyway you want. don't list prices, I assume they cost a lot.

Im sorry im not familiar with options for the wider wheels or brands you mention.
You are correct that the older original type 16" wheels can be found in 4" 4.5" & 5" widths. But seems the 5" wide ones are not as prevelent, at least from my experience.

Ive got a bunch of the 4" and 4.5" 16's. If anyone needs some.

Good luck in your search.

I think Lincolns of that period used a wider wheel, but not sure if they are 16". I've also heard that International Harvester pickup wheels were wider and will fit?
I made my own wider wheels by using the stock centers in some wider hoops. Wasn't too difficult...

Thank you so much for all suggestions!! I just want it to be right the first time because the shipping is quite complicated and expensive to Sweden. I would go for used Wheels If I lived in U.S but I think I will call Wheel Vintiques and ask about the multi-lug first.
Thanks a lot everybody!!!

Hi Guys!!
Here's an update about the mission impossible = wheelvintiques.
I ordered my Gennie 14 Wheels (16x7) in july 2013. I asked for the 5x5 1/2 with 5 holes and NOT the multi lug with 10 holes. I also ordered them Powder Coated in black and the Wheels were supposed to be delivered in about 4- 8 weeks. The wheels were shipped to Arizona just to be shipped overseas in a container and later on shipped ground Shipping from the port to my home above the Arctic Circle!!!! Finally in january I was called up from the local Bus Company because they should deliver my wheels and a small package from Mid Fifty. I was of course very excited and started my snowmobile to drive down to the state road to meet the bus. It was quite cold (about -30 C) to wait but finally the bus arrived with my 5 packages.
Already when the bus drove on I opened the first package just to find a nice black wheel with 10 holes!!! Now I need Hub Caps ?!?!??

B4C-1015-A .. 5 lug, 5.50" bolt circle 16" x 5" "Innie" Wheel / Obsolete

1953/54 F100 / Optional: 1955/66 F100 & 1966 Bronco.

Innie, so called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the inside of the wheels center section.

1967/79 F100's & Bronco's, 1975/79 F150's were available with an optional 5 lug, 5.50" bolt circle 16" x 5" "Outie" wheel (D2TZ-1015-E).

Outie, so called because the hubcap snaps over tabs located on the outside of the wheels center section.

Note: FoMoCo measures the width of wheels from across the inside flanges, not from the outside lips.

Wow, how did they screw that up so badly? They should send you new ones via air for free after you waited 7 months!

Wow, sounds like you should have ordered a track conversion for your truck instead of wheels.

How many months of the year can you drive the truck?

Thats to bad they told you they would be 5 lug and they werent.

Wheel Vintiques has a wheel in 16X7 with a 5X5.5 5 bolt pattern. Here is a photo and a link. Gennie - Bare finish

If you want to run with lugs showing and no caps and 16" 5 on 5.5 maybe look at 60's jeep like the trucks, gladiators etc. I have 2 such wheels on my IH scout right now. I have one with no tire I could measure width tomorrow if you want. If the hubcaps would work on your ten lugs, maybe that's the best course of action. On my scout I can't decide, so in front I have no caps and on the back I run hubcaps. Of course the caps say 'ford motor company' on them.....

Are the 10 holes two separate 5-hole patterns at different bolt circles, like 5 @ 5.5" and 5 @ 5"?

Thanks everybody!
I just wanted to tell you my story. I was going to run the wheels without
hub caps. Now I suppose I have to go with hub caps just to cover the ugly
holes. I ordered exactly the wheels from your link,
Rimrock F1. Pictures shows 5 holes and it says 5x 5 1/2 but I got a multi lug wheel with 5x5.0 and 5x 5.5 bolt pattern. Now they say they dont make this wheel anymore but I suppose they are lying. Before I ordered the wheels I was asking this question just to be sure.
