Well after 202,000km I made the decision to sell my 6.4 and ordered a new 6.7. The 6.4 was the best truck I ever owned and I hope I can say the same about the 6.7 in a few years. Thanks to everyone on here over the years who have helped me out and answered questions. I will remain on the site so if anyone reads an old post of mine and has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Cheers to all of you and wish me luck with the new ride when I get it, haha. Thanks
That was one fine-looking truck. From the angle in the pic, it looks like an Excursion.
Do you mind sharing the trade-in value you are getting? I am trying to get a feel for the value of my '09 450 with 150k miles on it.
Thanks,
Joe
Thanks guys. For the guys that live close and are interested I didn't keep much from the truck but the guy that bought it didn't want the topper or the slip tank/tool box from the back so those are for sale. I also kept the subs & Amp but might keep them for future use. I also have the factory fuel tank, complete factory exhaust and factory air box if anyone is interested, just shoot me a PM. And to Mud Doc I got $23,500 for the truck which I felt was a fair price.
id say thats a good trade in price. so do you have the 6.7 already?
It wasn't a trade in price, I sold it privately because the dealer was only offering 21k on trade in. As for the 6.7, that came to an abrupt end. With the truck, lift, tires, extended warranty and financing it came out to $101,500. Then they informed me that there would be a $600 charge to bring in the truck I wanted and a 1 month wait to get it ready. I told them the extra $600 was BS and they informed me there was no wiggle room. So I left, drove to a dealer down the road and walked out with a new F150 FX4 with ecoboost. I rarely tow anything so I've decided to drive this for the next 4yrs and then possibly get another F350 if Ford makes it reasonable. So far I'm impressed with the ecoboost and although it's no F350 it has lots of power, handles great and it's loaded with options. I have to swallow a little pride when I meet an F350 on the road now but the savings make that well worth it.

At our Ohio truck meet Crazy001 has the Eco with the max tow package. That thing rocks. I towed just as good as my 6.4. Now it is not as stable and I would not want to tow the heavy 5er with it but it scoots along very well.

Thanks for cheering me up about the change in purchase, haha. Like I said I'm really impressed with it so far and I'm confident it will easily handle the little towing that I do.
