Ford USA now has Global Open enabled on the 2013 Fusion and Lincoln twins. Ford Europe also has the Global Open feature standard on the 2013 Kuga

Therefore our BCMs for owners of 2013 Escapes must be able to have Global Open configured. I asked the dealer and they were ....... clueless. I have registered an email to Ford USA..........the search continues.......

 

I, clueless too. What is global open?

 

Allows opening and closing of windows and sunroof via key remote... a GREAT feature I have been using on my Audi and VW cars for over .....10 years !

 

What's the point of a second thread on the same subject?? A Ford Tech told you that it can't be done in the other thread.
