more power
Good morning. I have a 5.4L in my F-250 And I pull a 31 foot Travel trailer with it. Is their any way to get more power out of this motor for this application? When going up hill she really boggs down. I know the make chips and things but I'm not sure if its a HP problem or a torque problem? Any help would be great thanks.

Skip the 4:10 and go for 4:30 That will help a lot. As far as a tuner don't waste your money it will do basically nothing for a 5.4. When going up hill don't be afraid to let her rev. On long steep hills my 5.4 typically sees 4000 rpm and sings along happily.
