ATP Pilot, I did what you suggested with the battery and so far it has worked. I am now getting 11-12 in town, previously 9-10. I have not been out on the open road yet. I am sure that it will be back to 15-16 when I do. Thanks for the advice.

Twice now after pulling and then driving around unloaded my intown mileage has dropped after it has relearned my driving habits. I'm thinking it's trying to get into higher gears to fast for better mileage but ends up making the mileage go down by lugging the motor.

Yeah something about the software just doesn't allow for towing and then driving empty. The computer still thinks you have 7-8000lbs hooked up.

Since my last post I have done some highway driving and have seen 14-15 mpg at 60mph. If I would have driven farther I would have seen 16-17 as I have seen before.
