Hi all, I'm looking to complete my 093 kit so I can install it. On the advice of others here, I contacted Russ (Type4) about it, but unfortunately he's very busy and I haven't succeeded at buying anything from him. I want to get this project done.

I've got the major components of an 093 kit, basically the turbo, valve covers, snail, aircleaner assembly, y-collector, and turbo inlet pipe.

I have a crossover pipe but it's cut in half and missing the flanges to bolt it up. I was going to weld it, but still need the flanges.

Anyone out there willing to sell me basically everything else in the kit? If you have access to the ATS "6.9/7.3-093 Turbosystem W/Wastegate Parts Assembly" diagram (dated 2/22/93), I need everything on it except parts #1-7, 21, 29, 30 and 46.

Otherwise, I guess I'll just put this stuff back on eBay again or sell it to someone here.

 

There's a guy on Orlando Craigslist that's advertising a complete 093 kit for 700. Don't know if your in or near fl or not but it may be easier to buy a complete kit and sell the left over parts like you said on eBay. If you look on CL, search "idi" and it should come up.

 

this is why i stayed away from the ats kits.if i bought one and it had missing parts (which is often the case when buying used) or i broke something during instal,or something broke latter,how the heck could i find parts for my daily work horse the next day air if needed? i had to go with banks or hypermax.

 

I have everything you need but the heat shield, but havent put a price to it yet. 12 hour days are killing my hobby type stuff.
Its not easy finding all the right hardware so you dont have to screw around modding things. They use some odd lengths and I am going to need a couple more pictures, if we do this, to get you correct hardware. Some of the kits came with studs for the turbo mount and some with bolts.
I can get it together after the weekend, we are out of town till monday night.

on edit I may include my heat shield as it came off last time I had the turbo off. Im building one that is easy to R&R with the turbo.

If anyone has a complete -- and I do mean *complete*, from a good turbo all the way down to the o-rings and brackets -- turbo kit, whether it's an ATS 093 or a Banks Sidewinder or a Hypermax or whatever ...

I have a good running daily driver '91 Explorer, 4WD, 4-door, five new Goodyear Wrangler tires, that I'd straight-up trade for it.
